I have a thing hooked to my fuel line before it goes into the injectors, is says "energy cell" on it, and patent pending, it also has what looks like vacume lines going to it.. I have no clue what this is. Does anyone know.

hmm... maybe one of those stupid fuel "enhancers" that clip onto the fuel line...? i dunno why it would have vac lines going to it.... maybe you're talking about the evap solenoid? that would be my guess.. it's near the fuel line and has a few vac lines...

Not sure about the vacuum lines, but it sounds like one of those magnetic "fuel savers" as Pete suggested. Should be able to remove it with no problems and no change in anything on your truck. But pics would be cool. create a photobucket account, upload them there, then post the link.

Ok, I think i may have it, sorry if the pics are small.. I think yall are right, it may be magnetic.... How does this help and the vacume stuff has nothing to do with it..

it was magnetized, i removed it from the fuel line, i have no clue what it did, theres no brand name on it, all it says is "energy cell". There is also a hose that is capped off right behind it, its about a 7/8 rubber hose, maybe it went to the stock breather. I have a cold air intake, the hose goes down the fire wall, under the truck.
