Unfortunately the drags were rained out today in Phx.But drivers and crew were all over hanging out and talking with those that showed.That is what always makes going to an NHRA event a blast.
Heres a couplr of pics,nevr mind the big goofy guy that managed to get in all the pics somehow lol!

Pretty cool when you can take a rain out and still have good time.That would be good to walk around and look cars and crews with out ten thousand other people looking at the same thing.

Its always a good time.If you can catch them without the mad masses of people they will sit and talk your ears off.The wife and I ran into Jeggy at a food stand,and wound up talking till our food got cold.

Was standing by Tommy Johnsons monster F/C when they were starting it up for a leak check etc.,and when they lit it off everyone close enough to the front sides got a nice little splash of raw fuel out of the pipes.
Truly good stuff!

Absolutely,thats why I always try to go early and on days when the fewest people show,and they haven't left yet due to not qualifying etc.

I've never been to the big ones... i may have to go one of these years...so you gonna be racing the dak in april or still the nissan that has jumped my truck when im a dumbass and leave the viper fan on to long :jester:

I try to always make the winternationals in november. Every year i go the the first race in pomona, we get rained out. When we don't go (like this year) the weather is nice :jester: go figure.

I don't think gary will have the truck ready...but maybe we can go crash his house and get a peak at the amber truck that's been MIA for some time now :woot:
