Went to race at the track today and am very happy! bottle pressure and Radials do wonders! The truck is very consistant too!. I was able to run 14.54 at 93.62 MPH. 60' was 2 flat so not bad. That was on a 75 shot and bottke at 800-900ish. BUt went out second round.....Redlight NOOB!

Not bad man. I would do headers if ya don't have them already, or a computer or SCT tuner

good times mayne..keep it up...next mod is up to you: tune it (for nitrous-i believe we had that conversation), throttle body (increasing your air intake), or headers (better air flow)

Headers and ypipe or full exhaust with duals. That was my best bolt on mod, until the cam swap anyway.

I know i want to do it all! Its going to be either headers aor a throttle body! And i Have a full new 3 inch exhaust so its just going to be headers, And im Putting the 100 shot on i need to break a 13!!!!

Get that bottle pressure up to at least 1,000. 1,100, or even 1,200 is better. If you can stick that out of the hole, you'll already be in the 13's.

HAHA YEEHAW! Well im going to work on the pressure.. I have heard of the soleniods not working if the pressure is too high? True? I cant wiat to hit the 13!

NX solenoids work best with right at 1,100 psi. 1,200 and up, you would stand a chance of locking up the solenoid, but if you want it to hit hard you gotta get that bottle HOT!

Just to put a bow on it, think about this; with a "wet" kit you're adding a specified amount of fuel, for a specified amount of nitrous, which would ideally be delivered at 1,100 psi.
Anything below 1,100 and you're gonna be PIG RICH, as the fuel will always be delivered at the same rate.

I didnt even think about that. Thanks. where do you have you pressure gauge? on the bottle itself?

No, it's on the A pillar. I used to have a 3 gauge pod, but I hacked it down to just one pod and put the nitrous gauge in it, down as low as possible. It sits behind my state inspection and license plate stickers. It's an Autometer.

i would recommend headers, tune and u'd crank pulley which it would rev quicker through the rpms, nice times tho :woot:
