usually http://www.truckperformance.com has the best prices. better than summit and jegs and all the other sites for the most part.

summitracing.com and stillen.com are the two cheapest I knew about. Truckperfprmance might be cheaper but I havn't checked them yet.

Keep an eye out on my site's for sale section, plus the one here - SS grilles tend to pop up once or twice a month at very reasonable prices. I bought my uppers & lowers for $100 from someone on my site.

They say that about the lower grilles because R/T's usually have the tow package which includes the lower transmission cooler. The grilles still work ok, it's just more difficult to get your hands back there to attach the clips.
I have a handy tip for mounting lower grilles - install the clips into the bumper first. Momentarily hold each grille in place and note where each clip will need to go to clip onto the grille. Take the grille away and set the clips in place, push up on the clip from behind so the barbs dig into the bumper and won't slide around. Once all the clips are in place, hold the grille in place just in front of the clips. You can slip a thin flat-bladed screwdriver through one of the gaps in front of each clip, lift it up a little bit, and push that corner of the grille in place - let the clip snap down and then move on to the next corner. Once you get the hang of it you should be able to install each grille piece in a minute or two, no muss, no fuss, no swearing.

So, what is their solution to that problem?

There is no R/T-specific "solution". They sell you the same grilles as all the other Dakotas, they're harder to install from behind because there's less room between the bumper & grille for your hands, sucks to be you. You can try to squeeze your hands in there anyways, you can try it my way, or you can remove the lower valence/install grilles/reinstall valence.

If you or someone else is still looking for grills contact this guy xlofnktax on either Dak-Dur or custom dakotas. He works at stylin and can get you a good deal. He got me mine just recently upper and lowers for a better price than anyplace else. I don't remember what the cost was though.

I would be interested in these grill pieces also but I need the lowers for the street scene front bumper with just 2 pieces like you see in my sig pic. I would like to get them in chrome but I don't think you can. Let me know a price for them and if you can get them in chrome, that would be awesome! Thanks man!
