I believe Melling is the only one that makes a high volume pump at a decent price. The next step up is a Titan pump that costs about $600.

This will sound like typical BS, especially coming from me, but the stock oil pump is more than enough oil pressure.
Remember; the more oil pressure it makes, the more HP it takes to turn it. If the stock system already delivers up to about 45 psi, getting a few more out of it isn't going to help reduce wear on anything. All it needs is good, clean oil. Not firehoses worth though, lol.

89 bucks not bad, just a melling unit that is upgraded. Sweet.

Like Alan said the stock is suffecient. Mopar does make a kit to boost the pressure on the stock ones but that is only reccomended if you have mods that have brought your oil pressure down.
I was thinking abut getting the Titan for my R-3 but the guy I bought it from said it would be a waist of $$$$. He reccomended a Melling HP. Said that would be sufficient.

The precision one is only a 100 or so shipped, so I think its worth it just to keep the oil flowing.

I'm running a stocker with that kit now, It has worked out nicely. Remember, a high volume pump requires a high volume of oil, I wouldn't use one without a lrager capacity pan. I'm currently running the JM 7 qt pan, it's a really nice piece for the money.
