Before this section becomes clutered with new users sugesting things changed, perhaps they can post them in this thread. Heres mine:

The Previous/Next thread links at the bottom of threads are very difficult to read agains the background color. Perhaps there is a lighter shade we could use.

We will take that under consideration. For now, you can use the "Other Modification" folder. :) Thanks for joining us!

I've been looking into this suggestion, I'm not sure if anything can be done. The shade of blue that is used for standard hyperlinks is configured by your browser and not the forum, so the only way I could correct this problem is to completely change the background color that is used throughout the website. I'm kinda fond of the dark background, but if people want to see a lighter color that highlights that small handful of links better, we can look into it further.

Let's play it by ear, see if more people would like to see more categories. At the moment I'm trying to minimize the total quantity of subforums on the site. My site's focus is aftermarket parts information, that's why I have so many subforums - I know a lot of people don't want to see the forum list get that big here.

Perhaps users who care enough (I don't) could change it on their end if they really wanted to. I don't use those links anyway, just thought those who do might want to see them better.

Hey Bryan, everything is good, new semester, I like my classes so far, geting into the good stuff now.

The truck is more white with salt than black, ugly with it's snow tires and therefor servely traction limited, but it's still the coolest thing on campus in my book. Going to join the perf. auto club here and show some ricers whose boss.

I just finished building my JAW wb02 controller. I need to pick up a sensor and get a bung welded in for it. Next up is the megasquirt, gotta show up the SCT guys for half the price. :-P

I look forward to the spring NE meet and the nationals. I still have those wheels for ya, they rnt going anywhere.

How can I just go to my last read post? Everytime I click on a thread it goes back to the beginning

On the other side of the screen, it will say who posted last. There is an arrow right next to it, click on that. :)

Steve, I was curious if the things that say DRTC Exec,Div Member, etc could go left to right instead of top to bottom? To me, it would minimize the scrolling and use the empty space to the right. I don't know if it's possible to change that, but I thought I'd ask about it :)

How bout a vBGarage? I know this is probably not on the hot list of things to do but it'd be a nice addition.

Has anybody coded and released it to the public for 3.6+? Last I seen many people had to pay coders to get it to work on the newer versions of vB.

Just my .02

I'll check into it, but as far as I'm aware the code automatically stacks them vertically.

Good suggestion! I know when I bumped vBulletin to 3.6.x on dak-dur.com I wasn't able to upgrade vBGarage, so I decided to buy a commercial package with all the advanced bells and whistles. I'll go back and see if anyone has come out with a vBGarage upgrade or whether anything else is available. If necessary, the DRTC Board can evaluate whether it's worth buying a package.

I can't say I've ever used the previous thread/next thread links. I always prefer to go back to the index to view the titles of the threads so I only read the ones that interest me. And I actually use the "new posts" link at the top, and rarely click into each folder separately unless I am starting a new thread.

What is a vbgarage?

vBGarage is a vBulletin add-on that is like an "Automotive Garage" - users can add a vehicle, list its mods in a profile field, then add a handful of photos. Last year when vBulletin upgraded from v3.5.x to v3.6.x, a lot of major code was changed, so a lot of those 3rd party add-ons like vBGarage wouldn't work anymore. Some add-ons were upgraded to work with v3.6.x, some others were not - the vast majority of them are freebie code hacks, so there's no real support. I didn't want to wait for the freebie package to get updated, so I bought a commercial product.

Same shit happened to me. I tried makin it work but it took up way too much of my time and a half inch of my hairline, so I gave up on it.:D

I take it it's only one website per package?

That's correct - I can't carry over the license from dak-dur.com to dakotart.com.

I don't think it should be too hard to find some sort of solution, vB 3.6.x has been out for awhile now. At the time I wanted something immediately to go along with the server upgrade, and didn't mind paying for a commercial package for the extra bells & whistles. I don't think we necessarily need anything that complex here.
