I always run with the O/D off. I think the G8 is gonna take ya, they run in the 13's stock iirc. But don't worry about that, just get out there and have fun.

For the 1/8 mile it won't make one bit of difference.

OD off, but it won't make much diff in only 1/8 mile, I run 9.2 et and you have a few more mods, so maybe 8.60? at 78mph

He'll be doing good to get under 9s. I desperately need a tune on my truck, but the best it's done in the 1/8 is 8.9 with a negative density altitude number that night. That was in Alabama. And I have a fairly decent built motor with heads/cam, higher compression and a 2800 stall tc. That was running on slicks too.

I'm always o/d off at the 1/8 mile.
If the G8 has an LS motor, I wouldn't count on winning, but if you get out of the hole on him, maybe you'll take the stripe before him at an 1/8 mile.

O/D off, and if you take some weight off her. Take spare tire off, and passenger seat out atleast. Not sure if this will work for a R/C, but my cal-tracs I do 1 full turn on passenger side, and have a friend around same weight sit in truck. Then do drivers side at turn and a half. Before you do this roll the truck forward 6 ft or so, seeing cal-trac reconmends this. Good luck and post times, and maybe videos. Remember drag racing is supposed to be fun so have fun.
