Should be able to make a template and cut one out since it's flat. The harder part would be spacing out the holes for the screws. You cant over-tighten or it WILL crack, at least eventually, if not right then. You'd need some window sealer too.

Ok anyway, I never thought of making a template and "cutting one out" Is it possible to buy lexan? hmmm. And what's the difference between lexan and plexi?

The rear window is not flat. How I know this, is when I went to install my through the glass XM radio antenna, the antenna would not stick to the glass at the top. I put a straight edge on the glass, to find it has a slight curve to it as you get about 4 to 6 inches from the top.

Saying it was flat is just a slight exaggeration..we all know it's not 100% flat or at least I assumed so.

Damn...that looks like a good investment for weight savings in the future! Maybe a new front & rear windshield and rear sides will be replaced with their products in the future. Wonder how much it would actually save though.

nah just make more hp. My goal is to get 10's in a dd with no weight reduction except for the spare tire. This includes running on stock wheels full serpentine belt and all the a/c stuff. I don't think the track officials are going to like it to much though.

:jester: then once you get into the 10's, try some weight reduction, lighter rims, and a short belt and see how far you can go!!

I dont think im going with lexan. Apparently you cant tint it because it "breaths" and bubbles will form under the tint after a while. Theres no way im not having my back window blacked out so it looks like ill be taking a hammer to it and calling the insurance company.

I hear what you are saying, but I am gutting mine. I don't have even 3 to 4 grand to make a so so blown long block build. So off shit comes...

Says 97-99...any reason these wouldn't fit a 00+, or maybe only test fitted on those years like blowers only listing to 02'?

I don't see why it won't fit on a anything newer then 99. Cabs all stayed the same window wise.. Just summit not knowing the exact years... Now if it was a mustang they would have it down pat.
