I have a 99 Dakota RT club cab. The body squeaks every bump even when i get in or out of it . Does anyone know the problem? Does anyone know how it can be fixed?

Suspension bushings, body bushings, leaf springs, swaybar bushings, or just about all of those could be a squeeker. I would say jack the truck up and push down on each corner of the truck. Flexing the frame should reveal the squeek. Also check the shocks. Not sure that they would squeek but its possible.

Do a search on "cab pop". There was a TSB a while back regarding a popping sound coming from underneath the truck when it went over bumps. You have to take off the metal sleeve that sandwiches between the cab and the frame.

Does this truck have cal-tracs on it? If so mine does it every now and then depending on heat/humidity. Ofcourse this only happens when I get in the truck and out. Its the front metal bushings in the eye of the front of the leaf spring.

Squeaks that happen when the body moves on the chassis, are usually control arm bushings. Especially poly bushings that aren't slathered in silicone grease.
To test this theory, get a can of spray lube and shoot it into the bushings from the inner side-out. If the squeak goes away for a short while, you know that the bushings need to be replaced and/or greased up/

mine is doing the same damn thing. it squeaks goin down the road, and when i just get into the truck, it annoys the piss out of me. i took the tire off and looked at the bushings on the ball joints, and they look dried up, but there is no grease fitting any where, everything on mine is sealed. im thinking thats what it is because i havent hit anything to mess the shock up. atleast im hoping its the upper ball joints, cuz then it will be free :rockwoot: they are warrentied up to 100,000 miles. haha.

try isolating the squeek. mine turned out theres this rubber cup that goes on the end of the coil spring in the front,it folded over and the spring was exposed to the frame..but everyone elses answers are right, bushings, greasing, etc.:goodluck:
