Changed intank fuel pump yesterday and unable to get fuel to flow. I added 8 gallons of gas and I can hear the pump energize with key on engine off and I can hear the pump when I attempt to crank it over but still no fuel.
What the hell could be causing it not to flow?

I am pretty sure you have done this already, but did you bleed the air out of the fuel line? I would say bleed it out at the front schrader on the fuel rail. Dan

Initially I had run a fuel hose off that port(schrader valve removed) and ran it to a fuel pressure sending unit. Suspecting I wasn't getting any fuel flow, I removed the hose from the sending unit and put it into a large mason jar to verify flow.

Forgot to update this thread as I found the problem. The replacement pump was one of the discontinued Walbro 255 units (GRJ421). I found that the power and ground leads were reversed at the pump so I just swapped the wires on the stock pigtail.
