Does anyone happen to know the size of the fitting on the tranny check valve. It's part of the line that goes into the bottom of the radiator. It connects to the hard line from the tranny. I'm trying to run some new tranny lines to a new cooler and I just need to know the size of that fitting. Or do I even need to keep it? Here's a pic of what I'm talking about. In the picture its right below the water pump threads. It's kinda hard to see but that's the only pic I have right now.

I believe the reason for this valve is to prevent the TC from draining back to the pan. Older Mopars drain back and after sitting a few days; when you start them and put them in gear it takes a few moments for them to go. When I start up my oldies I usually let them warm up for a minute in neutral, then when hitting drive all is well.
Should not be a problem to bypass it all together.....
