What is the proper way to bleed the brakes. My brakes are real touchy when I first get in the truck. after I hit them a few times it gets better. I assume its just a bleeding issue. Any info is helpful.

I usually have an extra person, starting at the right rear. Have someone sit in the driver seat, pump the brake pedal 3 times and on the 3rd, hold the pedal as the other person opens the bleeder, push and hold the pedal til it goes to the floor. Repeat until all air bubbles are out of the line, the move to left rear, right front, left front will be last. Be sure that the reservior is full before you start on a new brake.

I would, however, try adjusting the rear shoes before bleeding the brakes.
