Fog light mounting question.

Can somone take a picture of how the fog lights are mounted in a 98/99/00 dakota? Thanks in advance. I'm wondering what all I'm missing like brackets and what not. Let me know thanks.

I don't have a pic but they mount directly to the metal part of the bumper. There are no brackets except for the ones that are part of the fog light itself

Thats what i was thinking. This newer bumper doesn't have those holes for mounting. Thanks thats what i needed to know.

The holes should be there..... it is a 97-00 2 piece bumper right?

No the guy that had the truck before me put a one piece bumper and bumper cover on it. He hit a curb, so he said. And had to replace the front bumper. the auto body shop he had the work done at used 2001 and newer parts.

So its the new one piece cover and the partial upper bumper backer. I am buying new upper bumper and lower valence soon. Im going back to the original parts. I just thought this one piece had the fog light mounting holes. I was wrong.

the fog lights mount differently on 01-04 bumpers, the fog lights themselves are completely different. I don't remember how they mount but the holes will be there somewhere. 97-00 fog lights won't work tho

Yea thats part of the reason im going back with the original bumper type. I have brnd new fog lights I cant install. lol Not to mention my lower valence is hosed.
