This is the one I bought from Summit and used on my R/T. It's a single pod that fits on the steering column. Even though it states it's made for a Ram, it fits my '99 R/T perfectly.

i have no experience with these pods... but here's an auction for a single pod for your '00:

are you doing a wideband?... if not, all you're going to get is a fancy light show that is worthless. i know, i have one... lol.

Thanks i wanted the clum one but i guess now i know you can use it thanks! Well Im still deciding. Widebands are so friggin much! and really all i need to know is if its lean or rich, no tuning needs. But i will probably end up getting a AEM eugo.

I have the AEM UEGO, just haven't gotten it hooked up yet. The guage pod is sitting on the a-pillar(not attached) and the guages are in the pillar pod, but nothing hooked up.

Anyone know how the pillar pods are supposed to attach to the pillar?

I have a Lo-Tek triple gauge pod. It attaches with 2 screws into the pillar. The Lo-Tek pod totally replaces the stock pillar cover. Some pods glue onto the existing pillar cover.

Can you post a picture of that single pod you got. I'm thinking of doing the same thing but want to see how it looks.

If you click on the link, there's a picture of the pod. I've got a picture saved somewhere on this computer of the pod in my R/T. I'll find it and post it up when I get home.

Here's a pic of the single pod on my steering column. The single pod mounts over the top of the existing column cover & fits perfectly. The triple gauge pod is made by Lo-Tek. I used Autometer Z-series gauges mainly because they very closely match the appearance of the stock Dakota instrument panel.

if you want to know your correct a/f mixture, go with the wideband. the narrowband is almost useless. spend the extra money on the wideband.

AEM's are under $200 right now. Even cheaper used. Not the easiest to log for our trucks, but if all you want to do is monitor where your A/F is, you can't go wrong.

How did you run the gauge wiring without it being seen? Did you use the tape to hold the pod down?

I took the two halves of the column cover(right behind the steering wheel) off the column, and epoxied the single pod onto the top half of the cover. I didn't trust the tape idea. Just drill a hole through the top half of the cover to run the wiring / tubing through. My single pod has a vacuum gauge mounted in it. You have to look REALLY close to even detect that the pod sits on top of the cover. Installation is really easy.

the only time my narrow band a/f reads anything other than jumping around like a jumping bean is when i used to have cutouts, it would read completely lean most of the time unless i floored it, then it would pop up into green. probably because of the way the PCM runs off the fuel map vs. the o2 sensors at WOT.

imo.... get a wideband or don't get anything. it'll give you a true idea of what's going on, and have the ability to tune off of it in the future.

The AEM UEGO is a wideband. It's what I have installed right now. Has a data output for datalogging, but you have to have software to get it to work.
