Alright so here is a plan, since spectator gates open at 12 (noon), there will probably be a line so arriving a little later probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

For people on east side of DFW, let's meet at Bone Daddy's (Spring Valley and 75) at noon, we can grab a bite (be at Pinks around 2) or pack up and head down (be there around 1).

For people on the west side of DFW, head down 287?

If we want to set up spots all long the way where we could pick up more people. Maybe Hooters Downtown, OTB in Lancaster, Waxahachie for any other stragglers.

Thoughts?

Sounds good. I live about 2 miles from Bone Daddys.

But, Lancaster & Waxahachie? Isn't that down I 35 instead of I 45?

If we were leaving Bone Daddys to go to Ennis, we'd do best going S on 75 to 635/20 and then over to 45 S. It would be no problem to swerve through the West End Hooters though, if that became necessary.

I'll be out there, but its faster to stay on 75 to 45 than to drive through mesquite traffic....

I wasn't referring to Mesquite.

If we take 75 S to 635(it's I 20 at that point anyway), then West to 45 (about 2 miles), then we head South again.
I wasn't saying we should take 635 all the way around from the Hi 5.

There are a few guys meeting up at Bone Daddy's. I don't remember which one because I won't be able to make it. :(

Good news is that I will be flying back up to NY this afternoon to drive back down with the wifey!

True!

Got her home on Sunday around 4:30pm. We will have to get together for some more datalogging. This weekend is out cause we are going to Killeen for her niece's bday.

Possibly the following weekend...

That's cool. Just let me know when you have time.

I wonder if anyone ended up going to Pinks?

I went, what a great day of racing. Now I want to go every year. They picked the 11.0 to 11.5 sec. group for the money run. Bunch of trucks. Had a total of 450 cars plus the Pro Mods, Jet Cars, Wheel Standers and Nostalgia Dragsters. It got over at 11:00 pm. Best day of drag racing I've seen in 20 years. Non-stop racing back to back.

Wow, nice turnout! I'm glad I didn't enter the competition. 11.0-11.5 requires a cage....and a bigger nitrous pill, lol.
