Hmmm, I retract my earlier statement about the FatMat.
Here is some interesting reading
sound deadener showdown (http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/)
I used FatMat in my original R/T and it installed and worked very well. I didn't have any problems with smell and so far (6 years) it has stayed in place. I didn't do a full cabin install though, only the doors, club cab sides, back and under the Thunderform box. Part of my success may be that I have a white truck and it really doesn't ever get all that hot inside.

Well here was my install. I went to Home Depot and got what you see here, worked great. It quieted the muffler way down, but im not the happiest with the speakers i got. Guess ill have to upgrade the amp and throw sub in a thunderform. Anyone have one for sale?

The install took about 4 hours, also did the front doors which i still need to take a picture of.

wasnt that much, the roll was about 20 lbs and i barely used half of it, Im guessing less than 10 lbs. Im not really worried about weight tho, i wont be running it anytime soon.

Cool, I think I might do the same, Just cause of the exhaust noise, I can live with adding 10 lbs. Thanks
