View Full Version : 4bbl M1 Questions....

Hey guys, my old man bought a 4bbl M1, thinking it was just a normal 2bbl M1. It does have the 2bbl plate on it, so I know he could technically bolt it up and use it.

What I wanted to know was, what all other mods will he have to look at doing to make this work for his 5.9. I'm thinking the 4bbl is going to be too large for small mods and only thought guys with big builds or 408's use the 4bbl M1.

If its more hassle than its worth, I'm sure he'll just sell it and look for a 2bbl M1.

I'd say he's going to need heads/cam/stall to make use of the extra flow of the 4bbl.

Yeah, typically the 4bbl is more use to the SC guys. It will work though, but he'd lose alot of low end. I'd throw it up for sale/trade, hopefully someone with a blower or doing a build will have a 2bbl to trade. :burnout:

If he decides to just sell it, let me know...got a build going and was going to buy a 4bbl soon. PM me as I may forget about this thread.

if weezy dosnt take it I will. Depending on when he sells it I may have a 2bbl.

Well, I'll ask him what he paid for it, I know all he would want is what he paid for it, OR I'll see if he'll do a even trade for a 2bbl M1!

good luck on the trade. a 2bbl typically cost about twice as much.

^^ wow, didn't realize that, I got my M1 for around 400, lucky I guess...

We'll work things out. Either sell the 4bbl or find someone to trade it. thanx thou for the info...
