Selling my 1999 Dodge Dakota 5.9 R/T, powered by the V8 Magnum engine. This truck is not for the faint of heart, it is loud, fast and obnoxious and I love every second of it. It's low, the exhaust is dumped before the rear axle and it's equipped with a remote starter. Other mods include.
- Custom front/rear lights (smoked)
- custom front grille
- rear "R/T" 3rd brake light cover
- sprayed in bed liner, not over the side just the inside
- C/D player and pioneer speakers all around, there is also enough custom wiring to power about 2000 watts worth of subwoofer if you get a hold of the amps and want to take up a rear seat or 2.
- 20" Ultra wheels, tires all around have less than 10,000 miles. The rears are 50mm tall and the fronts are 35 mm for a nice proper California look. (I'm from the West Coast, what can I say?)
I love this truck dearly, the loud exhaust, the bumpy ride and of course the fact that I could break traction all day long if I wanted to. However, I always felt best driving this thing as slow and low as traffic would permit. I'm selling it because my other car needs work and I need the cash to keep both that project and my wife happy. Never had a problem, but it's old and has high miles. The paint is almost a year old, everything was done right, including the jambs. The only pic below is from my phone, I work in N. Chicago half of the month so you can check it out there or up across the Wisconsin border a few miles. It does need new brake rotors, and sometimes the ABS light comes on, probably from the rotors.
Also, I do like having a 3rd vehicle, if you want to trade a good beater plus cash (at least a few grand) please let me know.
Sorry, just the 1 cell pic for now.
