I took my truck to be dyno tuned, the tuner said he could not tune the truck properly because the torque converter was bad, that it was not locking up or bleeding through internally and at 4500 RPM the power was falling off. I have a ASP 2800 stall converter in the truck, I don't notice any problems driving, although I never thought the truck ran to it's full potential. I read on Precision torque converters web site about dyno tuning problems with high stall converters. I hate to buy a new converter if it's not necessary, has any one else experienced this problem?
