Kevin,
If everything works out I'll know by the end of the week, if I will be able to make it to SAC. Are you going to tow or drive? I'll probably go up on Friday, do you have a place to stay yet?
Dennis

Sounds good dennis, hope to see ya there.
I'm towing...drove last year, but towing is easier with all the gear i'm gonna be removing/ taking.

There are 1-2 guys wanting to caravan from where the 126 meets the 5. (just before the grade). If you want to cruise w/ my pops and I, be prepared to go slow :jester:

I'll be there (NO FIRES) Grapevine is out of my way I'll be going up 99 via Tehatchapi. Did you find a place to stay in SAC?
What did you do as far as the speedo after you installed 4:56? I'll have them installed by the time I leave on Friday.

Place to stay...My sister lives between SF and oakland. So i'll just comute back and forth to the track like i did last year (50min drive).
The speedo is fine after 4.56's. As long as you stay with 28" tires.
I run 28.7" and at 60 i'm actually going 61.3 (so adding 1.3 miles per 60)

What brand gears are you getting? Found a shop already?

Running 27.88" so I should be with-in the 5 mph. parameter.

Went with Motive Gears & True-Trac. Received a great deal from Moe's.
Have a shop in San Bernardino that will install the gears.

Did you get your trans problem resolved?
