Let me know if you are interested in doing it. Chris's Dyno is pretty much up, but he is booked this month. Talked about doing it on the 21st for the day. Who would be interested. Not sure on prices and all that. I know I will be trying to dyno tune the orange truck and others are going to try and tune their trucks, so I doubt he will be able to do that many. Just throwing it out there.

If I'm on the road by then, I'll come up and hang out. Might throw it on the rollers for some nitrous pulls.

I am definetly interested. Shoot me some prices and whatnot when you get them, i've been dying to see what my truck is pushing with the blower and stuff on it. Let me know when you get some details ASAP.

Would I get free pulls since it's my birthday? Depending on how my tuning goes I may be making power worth checking by then.

You can get a free punch in the stomach for you Bday, haha.

Does it come with a side of free dyno pulls?
ADakotaRTGuy

Nope, just the punch in the stomach.
Just to clarify, if you get about 3 truck that need to get tuned that will be all that can be done that day so everyone one else will just be watching on the sidelines hanging out. I actually only expect about 5 people to show up anyway.

any idea on a price?

You would have to talk to Chris directly on that. I paid $150/hr for tuning on the rollers. Dunno what a regular dyno pass would cost.

True, I know mine won't take very long if I even really need anything at all. Black one should be done by then hopefully. When does the track open? Maybe a track day the 22nd?

Nevermind damn Cecil does not open till the 27th. Capitol raceway? Atco tenative open date of 25th of January. WTF? That is early no?

Godspeed perf in state college pa does dyno tuning for a lot less than that, if 150 is the rate to make adjustments, count me out.
Still looking forward to the spring meet though.

They tune SCT? Otherwise what else are you going to tune? Fuel Pressure?

Check sig :-) I've got a few small adjustments I can easily make.
Godspeed does not have the mopar SCT software, but is familiar with SCT in general and if you the ProRacer package I'm sure he could work with that. Not a dig, the SCT stuff and SCT supporting shops are great, but its not worth it for me personally considering the local resource I have.

I agree with you, I think most of the guys that are going to get tuned are going to be the SCT guys.

Thanks, is my shit all dirty? I used to wax that thing every three months and I have not even see it since August.

My two hours of SCT tuning was actually four hours of real world time. I didn't think that was too bad. Tuning on your own would be less I'm sure. As would just making some blasts for baselines and getting off the rollers. Dave needs to posts prices already...

Ok, prices will be 150/hr for the SCT tuning. Later on in the summer he plans on having a small meet to do dyno pulls. 3 pulls will be 75 bucks with no tuning. Let me know who wants in. Trying to keep it small this time and bigger the next time.

looks like 2 other guys on the dak-dur thread are talking about trying to tune as well, i think ill just be watching this time around, i only live 20 min from there so i would let someone else on the dyno before me who has to drive over an hour to get to the shop you know?
