Thought I'd share the gear going in the R/T this spring! I have most all of it now and I'm looking to do a nice SQ (Sound Quality) oriented system this time around. I heard some of the top SQ cars at the IASCA Finals this past year and it was a quite an experience and helped to educate me further on where to spend my money.
Tweeters are going in the A-pillars about 2" above the dash. Midranges are going in the kickpanels, and 8" Midbass going in the stock door locations. Sub and amps going into custom enclosure in the CC area.
So here's the future system....

Thanks man, I'll let you know as it gets closer. It needs to start warming up here before I can do much. I'm looking forward to the build and final product!:D

sweet. i love my alpine in dash flip out touch screen. just make sure you "forget" to wire the parking break dvd enable wire so you can play music vids on the run. just watch out for johnny law and keep your eyes on the road!
i might suggest throwing a ps2 or original xbox in there too. passengers love videogames. everybody plays halo and racing games when they are in the car and i do when im on lunch from work. freaks people out walking by when they hear gunshots and stuff played over the sound system. lol.
you might want a battery partitioner and a second deep cycle yellow top battery running the amps only too. thats alot of serious equipment to power. if you set it up this way you can park the truck and let it play till it dies if you want with the deep cycle batt. then start the truck up no problem. key is to keep the headunit and anything with memory on the main batt so you dont have to reset everything if you run the deep cycle battery out.
i didnt want to loose the back seat so i run the mtx thunderform.

Some of the Alpine items and Dynaudio speakers were purchased through Jeff Smith at Audio Designs of Atlanta. He gave me competition pricing since he will be tuning the vehicle after I get it all installed so I can't disclose the prices. Most of the other items were sourced online and a few through local connections. It's nice to know people in the car audio industry.;)
