Looks like no truck fro me this time. Work evenings to get everything back together in time. I think it is running alittle rich so go check the tune on the dyno. Well it is a little rich, but nothing bad, Do a full pull and I am down about 100 hp. So we started looking around to see what may have caused this and we find a puddle of AFT under the truck leaking out of the bell housing. So instead of risking it and having to tow the truck home again, I will just have the family car(not a Mopar).

Haha, awesome. This is definitely my first time going in the past 6 years of being 'around'. Also, this is the first damn 'car show' I've ever been to, other than a local cruise in/show that happens every Saturday during the summer at a local ice cream place. I'm definitely excited.

For those of you coming down 81, there is a better way to get to the show field other than route 11 which on Saturday morning backs up real bad and you'll sit there for a long time.

http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/pdf/Directions.pdf
Take exit 57, (route 114). Go to traffic light, turn left onto route 944 (Wertzville Road). Wertzville road bares off to the left, so watch for the turn off. It has its own lane to turn left. If you miss it don't worry, just make a left when you get to route 34. Route 34 will take you right to the fairgrounds and the gate we must register at to get onto the show field.
All have a safe trip. This is going to be great show. Weather forecast is for SUN,SUN, and more SUN. Temp in the 80's. Bring chairs and coolers, you can drink on the show field, but you must use disrection. It's still illegal!!

Do preregistered and non registered go to the same gate? I remember long lines on saturday morning ...

500 miles ago, switched to mobil one. You know, I don't know. The other motor acted the same way, on the stock oil pressure guage, when it had the 2 spun rod bearings. So, we fire this one up in late '07, and the guage acts the same exact way. This was a complete new motor, except for the M1. So the tech and I both figure, bad guage/sender. Now, I don't know what to think. This is 2 completely separate motors here. Doing essentially the same thing. The mechanical guage verified it, the pressure is low. When hot, it's 10 psi or less @ idle. I can get it to spike @ about 35 psi, by revving. But that's it, it drops right back down again. When this motor was built we put a different pressure relief spring in the oil pump. It was supposed to allow for higher oil pressure, and it worked. I see 60 psi @ idle, when the motor is cold. As soon as it gets warm, it all goes to shit.
I have a feeling that the short block they gave me was bad. It's just so weird though. It's 2 different motors, WTF

Speaking of booze, I have 20 some bottles of 22oz hard cider. It's a dry/tart cider that's carbonated. It's supposed to be 7.5%, but feels like it's more than that. Anyone interested in some?

Not that I've seen. We usually fill the cooler with ice at the hotel and it's good for most of the day.

I was leaning to the fact we still have to drive our trucks to the hotel...Just didn't come out that way. And noone checks, we've had bottles every year prior.

Glad to hear everyone has made it home safe so far. I rode back drafting off Chris and his trailer for about an hour or two, but he still had quite a haul after I pulled off. It was nice to finally put some faces to forum names. A bunch of real nice trucks...it was nice meeting most of you at the show. Time to go ice my knee from the go carts :drive: :jester:
