Even though the BIN price says it reflects all rebates and discounts [was there ever a rebate on the SRT Grand Cherokee?] this looks like somebody got a great buy.

Must have been a typo - probably meant to be $37800 instead of $27800. I highly doubt the dealership will honor the sale at that price. The MSRP on a base model is $41k, and most of them on the lots are sitting at $44k with Group 1, $47k with everything else.
There's a handful of dealerships in the southeast region that are unloading cars at great prices on E-Bay like this place - wish it wasn't so far away!

i'd be happy to drive any vehicle your purchase in the SE out to you in vegas as long as you pay gas, place ticket back home, and like expense of account of say 50-100. my spring break is mid march so lets make it happen!

I'm always suspicious of deals on ebay. They prolly meant to list a different G.C. at that price-- not an SRT. No way they could take a loss that steep, no matter how badly they needed to move it. Leaving it open to bid would have brought 35+ grand for it.
So, since someone did hit the BIN-can the dealership re-neg on the deal saying its a typo?

I'm not in any hurry to sell the Charger. I've checked in with a couple of dealerships that had 07 GC SRT-8's on the lot but they were absolutely hallucinating with the numbers they tried throwing out so I've told them all to fuck themselves. For me to pick up one of those cheaper SE vehicles I'd have to sell my car locally first, and I haven't even remotely tried advertising it yet - dunno if I could get my payout anyways.
If I did end up selling the Charger, I'd fly out myself and have a pleasant road trip home. That's exactly what I did with my 03 Black CC R/T - picked it up from a dealership near the Indiana/Kentucky border and drove it home.

yup of course they can. ebay can't force them to sell it. i'd call the dealership and ask for the same deal, that'll tell you if it's legit or not.

Even with all the legal mumbo-jumbo E-Bay tosses around to try and make it sound like their auctions are legally binding, people reneg on E-Bay deals all the time. At a minimum the winning bidder would have to hire a lawyer who would have to research and argue about E-Bay contracts vs. state and local laws, blah blah blah.
I'm sure the dealership will reneg on the deal - the worst thing that will realistically happen is they will get a negative feedback rating.

Back to your original post - no, there has never been any rebates available on the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8. The 2007 Charger SRT-8 had rebates of $1000, $2500, and $3500 available at various points from 12/06 to 3/07 (go figure, I bought mine when it was only $1000, 45 days later was $3500) but since then all rebates and incentives have been purged from the SRT-8 lineup.
It will be interesting to see what happens to the Charger/300 pricing when the Challenger is in full production. I can't imagine the sales will remain at current levels even with the Magnum being killed off. The Jeep will probably remain unaffected.
