I've seen this R/T in person. It is in good shape. Guy wants $11,500 for it. He basically traded it for a Corvette. Could possibly go by the shop where it's at and take pictures if anyone is interested.

its made of gold
Didn't get a chance to look under the hood, but he has 18" Boyd Coddington wheels with pretty much brand new BFG G-Force KDWS tires. If i remember correctly, I think he has altezza's on it. A dark tint job. And just pretty low miles for a '00. I don't think he's going to get what he's asking, but it is a consignment sale, so the price is going to be jacked a little just because of that. As I said, if anyone is interested, I could possibly take some pictures of it. I guess he doesn't realize that pictures sell, but of course he is listing it locally on craigslist.

ahh, ok. hes probably only asking 8 or 9k and the consignment places tacks on $2k+ normally. too bad he bought boyds, as i found out with mine, they don't add shit to the value and are hard as shit to sell after you sell the truck.

Aftermarket items only increase value when it comes to enthusiasts. They actually decrease value for anything else, such as trade-ins and what not.

true, but people like us, aren't trying to sell our vehicles to the average guy. we try and sell to people looking for that specific vehicle, but they'll pay more. if you have an 03 z06 thats turboed with a fully built motor, the value sure as hell isn't going to drop $5k because its less reliable. and i know it kills trade in, which is why people should avoid that at all costs. you normally get $3-4k under retail for trade in, so its easier to just sell it for private party value.

I think anyone who is selling, should ask a higher price, and stick to it! The value of shit goes down when you sell for dirt. You start getting a bunch selling at a higher rate, it becomes the norm. Look at the Toyota Supra, never lost a penny of value, and you won't find a TT, that isn't a POS, for under $20K.

$20?? my friend has been looking for 2 years now and can't find a TT 6 speed with under 100k miles thats mint for less then $30k. the problem is our trucks are no where as desirable as a supra and will never be. supras also cost a LOT of money brand new and are incredible.

Plenty on there for good prices, and some monster prices for some monster Supras.
