What time you going up there? I gotta work til around 2, maybe I'll take a ride out there afterwards. I don't think I can race this time though, I need tires bad right now.

It's supposed to be a pretty nice day, so I'm going to try and be there as close to 1:PM as possible. It's open until 6:PM.

Alan give me a shout when you head up there. The weather should be sunny and in the mid 50's or so.

Me too!
I was wondering, have you ever heard of George Rays back yard drag strip in Paragould, Arkansas? It's supposed to be about 90 miles from Memphis. I've always wanted to make a pass or two there.

Mid 50's? I thought it was supposed to end up at about 67.
I'll call you before I leave.

It's Texas, so you should know that the weather will change with little to no notice! :nana:
Looks like a high of 60° so far

I was asking because I don't know if George is still alive, or if the track is still open. If you're not familiar with it, Google: George Rays Wildcat Drag Strip.
I'd be down for a road trip though. That place looks FUN!

so you ended up buying another shitbox instead of an r/t :nono:
FYI........the Houston MoPar Show/Race is dead. No more, period.

I've always thought that would be a blast. That is of course, if it's still open.
