Springtech 1" lowering springs, QA1's and no sway bars.

Ripped off a few 2.10 60 footers so far....That's smoking up here.

I am doing a 2.0 60's with stock front and the sway still intact. I think i figured out the problem for you, get a transbrake so you can bring up the boost when you are launching. Thats the best I could think of, but then again you will probably just spin your tires which by that time would not help you out.

Or knock 7000' off the DA.

Traction isn't my problem.

I've cut a bunch of low 1.7's with stock suspension fully intact and then i switched to a full hotchkis and 60' stayed the same. Now thats launching with circle track slicks and a 150shot. My buddy runs stock springs and shocks w/ no swaybars, ac removed, and et drags and his trucks cuts 1.6's all the time and will even cut a high 1.5' every now and then (he's on stock longblock with 150 shot and stock trans and stock rearend). Oh yeah we both use Helwig traction springs bolted to the front half of the leafs to prevent wheelhop.

Drop the sway bar and you'll cut 1.7's

That was on the old truck. The new one has yet to see the track since I've owned it. It's too clean underneath for that! :jester:

Hotchkis and Bilstein here. 1.58 on a 408/150 shot.

It's the rear suspension that really matters, IMO. I have tried dropping the front sway a few times over the 10 years I've owned it and it never has made any difference that I can tell. I think it's because the Hotchkis springs and the Bils are such a tight setup, they don't really stretch out either way.
I didn't have a sway on there in Atlanta and it only 60'd in the high 1.6's.

Stock springs/shocks on my truck.

Removed the front sway bar, and on 275-40-17 drag radials I was cutting high 1.8 60ft's.

However, 60ft isn't just about the front or rear suspension. It's a combination of convertor, tire, and suspension.

The rear suspension is pretty stock too. Stock leafs with the rear clamp removed and a custom spring clamp at the front of the leaf pack. Stock shocks as well.

I'm using hte Mopar Peformance 2400 stall convertor as well..

Man you guys are killing me :hail:. Going to try again this Sunday. Got some blocks to drop rear down a bit more and level it out some. Going to add a torque link to motor see if it will help left left side up a bit. And if that fails going to take me 3 80lb sandbags along and put them in the back .
