Here is my 1995 Dodge Dakota Sport I picked up, 2.5L 4 cylinder, AX-15 5 speed manual, blown headgasket, I paid $300 buck for it.

Picking up a built 2.5L turbo engine from a 1993 dodge shadow to drop in it, engine specs are;
2.5L common block, 282 turbo head, ported, =1mm valves, 88 tbi cam, fidanza billet adjustable timing gear, head studs, mopar performance head gasket, main studs, arp rod bolts, Mahle floating pistons, moly rings, forged crank and rods.

will run it TBI for a couple months as I sell parts to collect more turbo parts then do the swap one weekend.
Will be buying a ported two piece intake manifold with =20% injectors, accufab fuel rail and adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
plan to get the t046B turbo from same buddy to run on this truck.

right on! I saw a 2000 Subaru impreza 2.5RS on the local salvage auction. I want it in the worst way and do a WRX swap but I don't need a 4th project vehicle :fml: I'm just trying to convince my younger brother to buy it so I can occasionally drive it :jester:

'95 and older had the SOHC Chrysler 2.5. '96 and newer had the AMC 2.5. The '96 I recently sold had the AMC 2.5.

Common blocks are pretty stout. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Well I picked up the engine, it is actually from a 1991 dodge shadow turbo, anyway it is a 2.5L TI engine
the car block doesn't have the bosses on the driver side for the truck mounts so I will have to make custom engine mount bracket.
The car oil pan will have to be swapped out to the truck oil pan as the car oil pan won't fit the truck frame.
hope to have my flywheel Friday so I can drop the engine in the truck.

The engine I got already has the balance shaft delete done to it, thanks it will be tbi for a couple months while I collect parts and save some money. I still have my R/T engine to finish and pay for when done.....

What are you gonna do for tuning? Standalone or factory turbo pcm and map clamp? 14.7psi is fuel cut, I still have a bag full of zener diodes to fool the map from my Daytona, it was bone stock other than some ghetto mods to run 30psi and could turn high 11's spinning

I will run a custom tune on the pcm for +40% injectors and 25 psi, I too ran zener diodes and "bleed off" valves on my 1988 Daytona shebly z car I had.
