there is no way to replace the inside door handle with out changing the hole door panel rite? Mine was cracked and the broke off when i was out and having shaved door handles and burnt out poppers doesn't help much so i snapped it off so i can get in LoL

i was told you have to change the whole panel, i broke mine but was able to super glue it back together and its held for 5 years.

You can replace the inside handle. I did it to my 99. If i remember right it was just held in by a pin.

Yes you can replace the inside handle, there are a couple ways to do it. When you buy a brand new one it comes with a housing that can be swapped too, but the easiest way to change it is to take off the door panel and remove the spring from the back side of the handle, and push the pin out from the back of the handle. It should pop right out, then just do the same thing backwards to put in the new one
Edit: You just posted that you need the back part too..... it should be plastic rivet into the rest of the panel. Grind off the old ones from the back until you can pop it out... then put in the new one and melt the tabs from the back

I have a set of two that I could sell ya- I swapped mine out with chrome ones so I still have the stock black ones- say 20.00 shipped- other wise the salvage yard will charge you for 2 whole panels since the peieces are plastic welded in. Let me know and I post a pic

check junk yards for them- they were on the 99's and 2000"s- alot of the durangos also had them- good luck

The chrome handles were only in Durango SLT+'s, don't remember what years but they are near impossible to find in a junk yard. You could buy them new from the dealer up until 4 or 5 years ago, they discontinued one of them.
Your best bet is to watch ebay, and all the Dak-dur boards

There were several sets of them for sale over on Dak-Dur about a month ago. Maybe those guys have some left or can get some more off the C4C trade-ins. I bought a set for my '00 DD but haven't got them installed yet. Waiting on my set of billet door locks from Mike Moore (moore_716) so I can do it all at one time.

You can remove the handle itself.....There's just a pin and spring that holds it in the housing, just look how it's together, pop the pin out and install in your door panel
I'd never seen the back of my door panel when I did mine and it only took me about 30 mins start - finish
