HELP!! Electrical!!

My Key fob batteries died so I replaced them and now my security system does what it wants. I disconnected the neg cable and that still doesn't work. Now when I drive my truck chimes and when I stop it stops.:jerkit:

I went to the dealer and they said everything needs to be reprogrammed ($50), I was told that as soon as i told them it was a Dakota? Anybody else have this prob?

I have the factory alarm on mine, with remote start. Everytime I start my truck I have to press the un lock button on my key fob. Also my horn jus goes off about 5 secons after I turn my truck off. I guess I need to bring mine to the dealer too.

Well at least I'm not alone:goodluck: Mine is going in on Thursday, I'll let you know how it goes unless you get yours in sooner. I'm just praying its not my CTM cause I don't have $250:mad:

Well mines goin in monday for a recall, ac, and my alarm system :(

Problem fixed, I bought the ctm $252 plus tax then installed it myself and had the dealer program it. I paid a total of $327 better then the original price the stealership quoted $541:nono:
