I'm looking to see if anyone has any tips before you head to the dyno. I am hitting up one of the local shops in town to get a few pulls in. I will more than likely rent the dyno for an hour or 2 so I can get a few pulls and make sure the nitrous setup is dialed in. I'm going to start out on the 75 shot and work up to a 150. If everything goes right I'm shooting for 475-500rwhp on the 150 squeeze.

What dyno are you going to? How is the new setup?

make sure to pull the TV cable off the throttle linkage. this will prevent it from down shifting when you jump on it.

lol...that would have been good to know when I dynoed my truck a few weeks ago. It was definitely a pain in the ass to try and dyno...

Bring a wrench to adjust for optimal fuel sync during the runs NA first.

Bring harder /skinnier tires and inflate them with ~40psi.

On my truck there is an optimal drivability setting and an optimal power production setting. They are different for sure.

I think I may leave the fuel sync alone b/c it drives great. I'm basicly going to tune the nitrous in and make sure everything is right. As for skinner harder tires I don't have any and I'd like to know what kinda power it puts down in street trim I'm prob not even going to shortbelt it.

But do run the rear tires up to about 40psi. That will help when they lash it down and you hit the bottle.

yea I normally keep my rears aired up to 38-40psi anyways if I don't they actually spin alot more on the street.

Like Duner said, there are really two..one for power and one for driveability. As far as a dyno is concerned, it's all about power. Driveability is a compromise setting and can't be adjusted on a dyno, more trial and error to find that one.
