I'm guessing Hairy Glass trimmed to fit.

Zeus fasteners? How much lighter do you think the tailgate and hood is? Is the tailgate still functional?

They're the 3 silver fasteners on each side of the gate. There are also 3 on each side of the hood. The gate is no longer functional. It definitely looks like a Hairy Glass hood. You can see how the whole hood slopes up before it gets to the scoop.

Do you mean that the hood raises from the sides before it gets to the cowl. How much work needs to be done to the hoods for them to be in good shape? Also, for the tailgate do you just remove the fasteners and the tailgate just pulls off?

You take those fasteners out and the whole hood should lift off. There are no hinges or anything. I've never seen any of their products in person but I would assume it would need quite a bit of work to fit nice and look good. Once the fasteners on the gate are removed it just comes off. I would definitely never consider any of their products for a street driven truck. Purely race IMO.

Ill probably end up getting the tailgate especially since ill end up shaving mine and it would probably cost more than just buying the fiberglass one.

then ill probably go with this hood. http://www.carhoods.com/

I would have too agree if they are hairys they are definitely lift offs Zeus fasteners are kind of like a "T" with a slot head they push in and with a half twist they lock on a spring most race applications use them from stock cars to monster trucks

Also called "dzus" fasteners, if you need some help looking them up. :)
