Has anyone heard anything on the spintech longtubes?? Price relese date? I want to buy some headers before the nats, but I want to see what they have to offer before I make my choice.:drive:

You'd have to talk to Spintech or Sam@SOCal. I don't think those exist other than whatever stage the prototype set is in at this moment.

I talked to Sam on the phone a couple of days ago - Spintech still has his truck sitting at their shop working on the R&D, apparently they haven't done a whole lot over the past couple of months that it's been there.

you guys know those are knock offs right? They are the same damn headers as the JM LT's...and probably a jacked up price

Where did you get that info from? I've only heard the same thing Steve mentioned that they are building a set on a truck at their shop. If they were to duplicate a set, why would they even need a truck then.:confused:

When did you talk to John on the phone? It does sound like something he would say VERBATIM....

The spintechs are actually more modeled after their mid tube GiSM headers....they are totally custom and I bet they will be cheaper than JM LT's...

Funny, since Spintech is designing them from the ground-up....hence the sentences containing the word R&D, and the statement that they've got Sam's truck to design them on.... :jerkit: Who told you they were knock-off JM Headers?

And probably a little easier to install as well....D'OH! I was thinkin' the same thing though, that it sounded like something John would tell people to discourage them buying the competition's product.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM GSMOTORSPORTS. THEY STILL OWE ME OVER $1800 AND SOME CHANGE FOR THE SPINTECH MIDS AND TRUE DUALS. IF YOU BUY ANYTHING GO STAIGHT TO SPINTECH. GSMOTORSPORTS IS A JOKE. ITS BEEN 3 MONTHS AND THEY STILL HAVENT REFUNDED MY MONEY!!

Yea it was on credit card. My bank is in the process of getting my money. I know its old news about GS and how they suck.
