I am thinking of getting some new carpet for the R/T. Doing black carpet in mine, I would just need to get some more black carpet to extend all the way to the back of the cab. I just removed all my stuff back there this weekend . WEIGHT REDUCTION! lol. Dan

I removed the seat, seat belts bottom and sides, and even the plastic tray. The back panel is still on it, but the bottom of it is loose, so I need to fab a bracket to secure that nice and tight. The sides are still in there too, its something I will address little by little. Will take pictures tomorrow when I get home from work. Dan

Sooooooo...there's absolutely nothing back there but carpeting?? Seems like wasted space. I suppose it IS weight reduction though. Any plans on putting something back there?

The club cab R/T is always wasted space back there, enless you are 7 yrs of age. Seeing I race it most of the time it doesn't bother me. Plans for anything going back there. Probably nothing, why add more weight with a sub. Plus all the club cab does is gives me room to drive the truck relaxed seeing im 6'4. Dan

I'm guessing that removing stuff is geared toward weight reduction, or just doing something custom?
If its the custom look you are lookning for, I'm attaching a photo. But, of course that added wieght. If youre looking to loose weight, just tear everything out, and spray some trunk spatter paint around, lol.

I'm going to remove my larger back seat this spring and replace it with another small jump seat, creating an area for a rear subbox/armrest.has anyone done something like that before?

I`ve completely restored mine with a KATZKIN LEATHER kit. I`ll be doing it again in a couple of weeks when the new kit arrives for the NEW R/T !!

I`ve only got pic`s of the front. It`s my old R/T. My new kit is not here yet ? I`ll try for pic`s when it`s done but, it may be a while ? . . as it`s off to the builders now that my t-body is done and the injectors are in. . . .
