Went to Summit Motorsports Park (Norwalk) on Friday for this year's last TnT. I was pretty stoked because the weather was very ideal and I was hoping for a 13.7 but i didn't quite get there. Made 3 runs in seven hours (Last run was at 12:38 am with a -9 DA!). Mods are as follows:

98 RC R/T - light mod
Spintech headers
M-1 with 52 mm Holley
K&N tube w/o filter
B&G canned tune
Electric fan
Short belt
255/60/15 M/T drag radials 24 psi

Nice job. I agree, with the previous post. Get a real tune. Maybe Chris at pie:biggthumpup:

Nice job. I have similar mods, but no drag radials or slicks. M1, 52mm tb and K&N CAI will be installed on Monday, and I'm hoping to run it one last time Sunday to see how much I can take off the 15.06 I ran last week.

I was also surprised to see that it weighed 3910 lbs with me in it and I weigh 220. Last time I weighed the truck it was 3900 without me in it.

Very nice kevin!:hail: I guess I have to get sabrina's truck to the track and keep the light mod trophy at home. Her trucks best is a 13.8. Let me see what i can do with a -300 DA at Cecil. Lol

You're lucky, our tracks close early in the year!

I think Thompson Raceway has test and tune well into November. Weather permitting.

I've heard nothing but bad things about that place. They have safety issues.

Since Dragway 42 is being redone. We have been going to Thompson. It's not nearly as nice as Norwalk. But a lot less crowded so you can get more runs in. Nobody preps the track like Norwalk. But a friend of mine has a 56' chevy that runs high 8's low 9's in the 1/4 and he get's it down the track every time.

Dragway 42 is/was the track I frequented because it's a lot less crowded but that's all going to change once they open back up. As far as your friends goes, you better hope he never hits the wall :secret squirrel:

The worst thing about Thompson is when someone oil's down the track. No joke they use a fertilizer spreader to put the oil dry down. and then a bunch of guys with brooms sweeping it up. It's for sure no Norwalk but it's pretty equal to the old Dragway 42. They were just a back yard track too. But in my opinion those are more fun. You get away with more and you get more runs. If something went horribly wrong I'm sure life flight could land at any one of them.

Life flight isn't needed when you die because the guardrails are lapped incorrectly and it sheers your car and cuts you in half. They still haven't fixed that issue from a few years ago!

Thompson's wall's are concrete. Dragway 42 was guard rails

My mistake I was thinking of Quaker. Looks like I will have to check out Thompson at some point.
