Well, here is what I have been up to in the past couple months. (other than "operation: Trans Fix")
New SSBC rotors up front and painted the calipers and inner rotor with that brush on Dupont caliper paint from PepBoys.

"Omega Glaze" directly on the frame with a little hand buffing. The first coat took 90% of oxidation/debris off. Second cleaned it up and wiped down with paper towel. Now I use "Show Off" to keep it shiny. As soon as I finish the WHOLE frame, i'm going to wax it all with "Blitz Wax"
x2. You polished that? :eek::hail:
Glaze/Polish...yea. Just hand buffed it to shiny perfection :rockwoot:

That red filter looks awesome. I might have to steal your idea.:D
My jaw dropped on that frame comparison picture. That's rediculous. And you did it by HAND! Not a buffing wheel. Kudos to you!

I polished my frame today too. You inspired me. Mine doesn't look nearly as good as yours though. I have some rust forming on the welds. Still a massive improvement though.
The only thing wrong with your rear axle setup, is those darn u-bolts are like pure rust. Spend $20 to get some new ones and it would look almost brand new from the factory.:D

Glad I'm hear to Inspire :rockwoot:
LMAO...yea, i was in a rush to get the caltracs on and didn't even think about painting the U-bolts. After I painted the drums black...I made sure to hit up the bolts with some caliper paint as well :jester: :biggthumpup:
Thanks all for the warm compliments :hail:

now the red detail you did all around in the engine, especially the lettering, was that all you that you painted? i'm really interested in dressing up my engine but it's really dirty right now so i'm wondering how to clean it up without ruining everything, because in the future i do want to dress is up like you did

The red plastic on the dip sticks and brake fluid cap were done with Krylon's Fusion sparay paint. The red on the VC's i used some caliper paint I had. And the red in the battery strap was done with a Testors model paint and fine brush. Also had some red Goodyear hose i used for the coolant resevoir.
I used some paint thinner to clean the plastic parts.
Let me know if ya need any help :biggthumpup:
