WTF! What are you gonna drive now? You leaving the Dakota world? I know of a Omni GLH sitting in my driveway, but it has the typical rust on the inside of the doors, and engine runs, but needs to be rebuilt. Too bad we are so far away. Dan

Im getting into SCCA. I want to run in D street prepared. Drag racing has bored me, and parts are just to pricey for these trucks.

I thought about putting it in a stripped down GenII, would probably run 9's on the motor alone LOL But in the end decided to stick with the beautiful lines of the GenIII. :)

How bad is the GLH? Just rust on the door, or rust on the Rails, and underbody?

There was a '92 four banger for $300 that I almost picked up, it was very tempting. But if I went that route, I'd cage it and go full race, and then I'd want to go with a big solid roller and a carb and then I'd have to build another engine for the R/T, shit gets out of hand real quick LOL

Yeah, I know. If I did to the truck what I really wanted too. I wouldnt be able to buy a house until I was 60 years old. Thats why I dont mind seeing it go. I can build a omni, or another l-body into a SCCA racecar for about 3k bucks. And have tons of fun with it.

A house is definitely worth it, much better than putting money into a truck.

Can some of you guys spread the work on my truck? Maybe some of you belong to some other forums.

I already found my new project with engine, and trans I want.

Just remember 3400lbs, with some gas, and a Paxton hooked up to it.

Weight reduction, aluminum heads, light wheels and your knocking on high 2000lb range.
