This is on the PIE rebuild. Took it too the track after 500 miles of messing around on the street. Definitely has more in it. This was on a 100 shot. Did not bother to run it n/a. I heard someone saying the DA tonight was 450'. :nana:

60' 1.72
1/8 7.50 @ 93.5
1/4 11.68 @ 118.3

Nowhere near Deputy times, but it's a start. Only one good pass for the night. I waited for 4 hours and 20 minutes to get in that pass. I'm going back Oct 5 for a private track rental and should be able to get some more out of it then. 150 jets should be fun.

DAMN!... I waited about an hour the last time I went, and right when they called my lane, there was massive downpour. Never got to go even after my $25 fee to get in. :bs:

I was surprised at that MPH too. ET was pretty much as expected. It should be flying come Fall Cecil.

Absolutely NOT taking anything away from your combo...
but you GOTTA love those Cecil times! (& mph)

Like I've said in the previous 100 comments about Cecil.
I'm just jealous that's all.

This was a Cecil? Wish I knew you were going I would of gone up there and hung out and drank some brews.

Hell that track must run downhill to get that kind of mph. I would of been curious to see what it does N/a. Now you just need to put a bigger cam in it and she would really get on down.

Hell yeah! Nice job, and still more left in it on the 100, much less upping the shot. Glad to see it coming together for ya.

This was at our local track affectionatly known as 'Crapitol Raceway'. Not Cecil. Friday night TnT where the ricers drag water all over and prep isn't the best. The ten five cars had all kinds of trouble hooking up. Cecil will be even faster...

Nice let me know when you go to Cecil. If I get get the AF one registered I will take it out to run.

What would you change? I know the 60' is crappy, but I still have tweaking to do and track prep isn't the best on Friday night TnT sessions here. The private track rental should be better. Cecil should really show what it's capable of though.

I'm not going to Cecil til Nov 8. We have a private Sunday rental down here Oct 5 if you want to come down.

God I wish I had the money when that truck was forsale. I've been in love with that truck since the day Joe took me for a spin in it. Congrads on the times. :rockwoot:

dont be so quick to say that... the motor was toast. it is a beautiful truck though

The wheels are Bogart Billet Lites up front and American Racing Baja's out back. The rears probably don't have enough backspacing so they are right at the edge of the flares. Looking at them on the truck again they realy don't look too bad. The price is right too compared to Bogarts. They are just as light almost without the $$$.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this truck. I have thoughts of selling it in the spring/summer. Maybe after Carlisle. I dunno. It's a blast on the strip, but I really prefer driving my TKO truck on the street. This one is just so mindless to drive. The 11 second pass didn't feel that fast honestly. I knew it was rolling since it trapped so high, but it just didn't feel it.

The sensation of speed is a bit weird in these trucks. I've been in slower cars that "felt" faster.

Yeah. The TKO truck feels faster actually.

I agree on these trucks not feeling fast. I am speaking for mine, it always feels like it just lifts alittle and goes smoothly, not nose fly up and slamming you hard in the seat. I find more tail wagging action than anything else. Dan

Well I see you're point, but what did it cost him to fix it? acouple grand? Cheaper than building a complete built up 408. Dan

Nice times sean, you gotta be happy with that truck.

About cecil being down hill, my truck mph's exactly the same at atco, maple grove beaver and cecil.....

We had two trucks that went from our local track to Cecil and dropped 4 tenths with no other changes other than the track change.

When we were at Cecil for the Nats, it was raining about 1" per hour. The water was running down the track like a river. It wasn't sitting in big puddles.

I ran all of my bests at Atco, but then again, I never raced at Cecil in the really good air. You really can't go wrong with most of the tracks in that area, Cecil, Atco, Englishtown, Maple Grove, all great tracks.

Damn, wish I could be there, that would be fun. And that's cheap as hell for a private rental. Maybe we can do another one later this year :)
