The bottle pass was fun, it pulled the tires way up that I let off the bottle and got back on it. Then the bottle got to cold waiting FOREVER in stage lanes and My buddy Scott could see it puffing black smoke on top end of pass. Bottle pressure was 725psi when I got back to the pits. First and only pass on bottle in the 1/4 I still happy with it cause if I didn't get sent "to tower" I woulda got my 8.80 pass.

Yeah but I wanted my 8.80 pass, they said "one and only warning" or I would be banned from the track for a year :fml: Believe me I would have went back out and tried one more time, oh well time to get my competition license.

It did, that fucking dragster was trying to burn me down on the stage. So I left on his ass and made him play catch up. Bottle pass would a been a different story. I'm still foot braking it, need trans brake bad.

You could run both brakes to an additional linelock and run it through a delaybox and twostep. It works as long as you dont stall it up to far.

No rear brakes, got a 4500 converter, gonna stall it to 3800 when I get my trans brake.

It appears you didn't courtesy stage. So technically, you're the dick, not the dragster.

Learn to shallow stage and you'll get quicker ET's as well.

It was retalliation from previous pass's we made together that day. we were the only two running in the .400 pro tree lane. If you also notice on that pass I left really early on him on purpose. Been racing for a long time I know a little about staging up and running rounds in a bracket race format.

Thats basically it.

Keep a log book, track everything. The more data you have the better.

If you really want to learn, Subscribe to Luke Bogacki's site and read and take it all in. Even for very good racers, you will learn something. It's $145 or so a year, a lot of money no doubt, but not a lot of money compared to what we spend on our vehicles trying to make them better or more consistent. No one has a problem throwing $100 at a part that is supposed to make the truck faster, lighter etc. But people freak out about investing that much money into their brain.

Seat time...

President of the local Mopar club walked up to me Friday night and said "You're getting pretty damn good in that thing"...Right after I womp-womp-womped a few ringers onto their trailers.

But yeah...I read everything...Thanks for the link.

EDIT: The new LED tree is taking it's red light toll on me....I need to slow down my reaction time in the later rounds, I read eating carbs will help. Since I don't eat after 5 or 6:00pm, at 10-11:00 pm my blood sugar is wacky.
