It's your old one - of course. Like you don't know! It really looks great on my R/T, but it ended up costing me about a grand to get it installed--- after my f**k up!

Long story, but here goes---Raelene paid a local body shop to strip, paint, & install the roll pan. It was a birthday present. I took the R/T in to the shop, they installed the roll pan, it looked fantastic. I took the truck home to install some license plate lights in the pan. Got that done, turned out great.
I decided to sweep out the shop while I had the truck up on my hoist. After sweeping the shop, I raised the roll-up door to push the shit out of the shop. The door raised about 6' before it stopped all of a sudden---What the hell???----the door hit the top portion of the tailgate and rolled about 2.5' lengthwise across the rear of the GT tonneau! Left 2 huge deep gouges in the top of the tailgate, and gouged the tonneau with 2 2 1/2 foot long gouges! The gouges in the tonneau actually broke throught the steel skin! So it was back to the body shop for repairs on the tailgate and tonneau. Nothing another $600 wouldn't fix!!!
It all turned out fantastic and now it looks better than ever.
Funny thing is, I had all the goodies to interlock the garage door from going up when the hoist was off the ground---in a drawer for over 2 years. Just never got around to getting it done. Needless to say, I installed the interlock the very next day!
Serious screwup!

Ed, we would love to have you as a rep. We need to go through the official process tho, so we'll have to open a poll in the Div 6 section and have Div 6 members vote on it. It also needs to be open for nominations in case anyone else wants to be a rep (some folks might not know that the positions is open). I'll start a thread in the Div 6 forum for nominations and then we can have a poll for folks to vote on it.

It really does look good, thanks to your donation. It stripped down real good, and with the new paint, looks as good or better than new. Fixing my screw up blew all the mod-money I had saved up though!

I'll try to get some pics soon as the weather gets better. I was amazed how well it straightened out too. I tried stripping the paint off myself, but it was going to take at least another 2 gallons of stripper! That old paint was really bonded to the roll pan! The body shop used a chemical to soften the old paint and then used a pressure washer to remove it.
