Passenger Side Collector Gasket

Alright, what the hell is the trick to tightening this sucker down with the transmission still in the truck? I cannot get a wrench in there to save my life. This is the second blown collector gasket I've had on that side. The first one I was lucky enough to have it happen when I was swapping the new transmission in so it was a breeze with no bell housing in the way.

Extensions, universals and some contorting

You must be talkin about the bolt that is directly above the exhaust tubing. I use a 3/8 ratchet with short extension (2-3 inch) and a short socket. Just gotta fanaggle it in there and do 1/4-1/2 turns. Good luck man.:biggthumpup:

or an assortments of extensions, sockets and cussing....

OR... bend a cheap ass box wrench to fit.....
