I know some people mount them under the seat. I planned on putting mine behind the driver seat and the wall, but was wondering what people used to mount it up there without going through the entire wall.

Mines behind the pass seat on the wall. I went all the way thru it too. I drilled a small pilot hole then coated the screw with silicone and drove it in.

So it comes out in between the cab and the bed?

Why not use liquid nails on a board to the back wall. Then attach the amp to the board?

Yes. Also if anyone tries to steal my bed the will be gourged by the hidden spikes.

I actually put a shit ton of velcro backing on it and stuck it right to the carpet. Has not moved in 2 months.

I mounted my big honkin' 5 channel amp in the bed of my truck. It's mounted to the front bulkhead. I'll post up a photo when I get home from work.

It's a lot of work to mount it in the bed. Power and signal cables are very long (expensive), routing is a bitch, but it can be done.

I finally found a photo of my amp mounting. It's a 5 channel Infinity amp. The photo is of the original mount, I just covered it with a clear Plexi cover. Later I built a carpeted enclosure that matched the Bedrug with a window made from the Plexi cover.

I've got the amp out of the truck right now to add a second Infinity amp and a pair of bigger subwoofers to mount in the bed.

mine is mounted behind the passender seat. I put a piece of wood behind the wall and mounted the amp to the wood and sandwiched it onto the carpet wall..
