Here are some new pics of the truck. Some of the new additions are the cowl hood, street scene gen 2 bumper cover and gen 1 rollpan, and fx sideskirts. I also sanded down and had the front grille and fender flares repainted. Then I did the 3 step Meguiars paint cleaner, polish, and carnauba wax to the entire truck and it all matches perfectly.

def put aside about 8 hours if you dont have a buffer. I dont and thats how long I took. I did the whole truck with tar and sap remover cause it had some tree sap. Had to do the roof and hood 3 times before it was all out. Then did the entire truck with the paint cleaner once, polish once, and wax once. The paint cleaner was very good it removed a lot of the swirl marks and makes the 6 year old paint look like its 1 year old.

thanks again to everyone. i dont know if its just me but i think the dodge dakota is probably the best looking truck ever produced and up there with some of the best looking cars out there. with most cars made if you see them from a certain angle they dont look as good but with the dakota its hard to find that angle.

For looks I def. like the regular cabs more than the cc they just look faster and more nimble. But I do like my cc for practicallity and people not thinking it can go fast.

yea sometimes i wish i had the cc just for some extra recline space and for maybe a better stereo with some subs. the way it is now, the only time i turn the stereo on is if the truck is off and im just sitting in it otherwise the engine overpowers it.

Very nice, that list of mods looks somewhat familiar, 'cept you spent way more on your heads. is 324.29hp & 340ft-lbs SAE at the crank or rw? I'd be happy(shocked) to get to 250rw w/ my set up 4wd.

Where did you get those fog lights or did you make them? If so, how did you make them yellow? I think it looks gorgeous.

They are OEM replacements. They sell on eBay clear (like stock), smoked or amber. They do look good.

Are these it because I can't find another set on eBay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-04-DODGE-DAKOTA-PROJECTOR-FOG-LIGHT-YELLOW-LENS-03_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3356dbae42QQitemZ220 500569666QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAcces sories

It says 01-03, but 97-00 Dakota's should fit as well right?

I don't see why there would be a difference in the '98-'03 R/T Fog Lights. Would be nice to be able to up the wattage on these lights too, without have to install HID. It's an 889 style bulb.

Has anyone replaced their stock 65/55 9007 headlight bulbs with 100/80, and not had any lighting issues?

I'd be concerned it would deteriorate or melt the plastic lens or turn the chrome inside a yellowish brown color.

There is a difference in the mounting of the fog lights between the years. I didn't click on the link to see if the auction is just for the lenses, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

This is when you learn how to customize and fabricate with these trucks. The running lights I have on my truck I had to custom fab/mod the bracket to make it work.

When I bought my truck the kid took off the fog lights, so I have none :(. So I don't know exactly everything I need to hook up the yellow fogs. I really like the yellow fogs on the black R/T. I need to do some research and see who carries them besides eBay because I can't find any on eBay besides the one link I posted. I'm hoping its a kit, so it will have everything I need to hook them up.
As long as there is no welding involved I'm good to go, lol!

98'-00' mounted to the upper metal bumper. 01'-04' mounted to the plastic bumper, has a little housing that screws/bolts on.
