Hey everybody, sorry I'm late to the party. Thanks again Skindakota for the nom!

Theres some nice trucks this time around, I'll do my best. I have always liked the R/Ts, I would drive past one on my way to high school every day and it always caught my eye. I bought my first dakota while going to school in Wyoming, a 92 rc sb 2wd 5.2 for $800. That truck was quick for a rusty old beater, and it really set the hook. After moving back to cali I was on the hunt for a 5.2 5 speed, but the right truck never came along. I decided to look for something newer, and I remembered the R/T from my high school days and started searching. I found my truck at a small used car lot, and took it home in 2007 with 79K on the ODO and in near perfect condition. I left it all stock for a few years before joining the forum and beginning the mods.

Current list of mods as far as I can remember:

Interior/ stereo:
MTX Thunderform with 2 JL W0 10" woofers
Clarion head unit with in dash screen, dvd player, and HD radio
Infinity Kappa speakers front and rear
Mopar EVS2 security system

Exterior:
Savini SV-1 forged 3 piece wheels, 20x10" front and 20x13" rear
2"/2" Groundforce drop
bedrug
SnugLid tonneau cover
tailgate wrap from Typer00_0371
fiberglass GTS hood
crystal clear headlights, turn signals, and fog lights

Engine / Drivetrain:
Airbox for GTS hood w/ 14"x 2.8" K&N filter
52x55mm F&B TB
4bbl TB
R/T heads, 2.08/ 1.60 valves, milled .050" for 10.5:1 comp.
.507"/.524", 207/211 @ .050", 111 lsa cam, installed straight up
Crower Rockers and Jomar stud girdles
Doug Lee VCs
PPH headers, single 3" magnaflow exhaust
GC fan with Rob Rohe's billet brackets
Martin Saine 46re with 3rd gear lockup delete
Martin Saine 2800 stall
Yukon 4.56 gears w/ rebuilt trac-loc diff
SCT tuned by Westech Performance

This truck has been awesome to own, and always very reliable. I never drive it easy, but it keeps coming back for more every day. It made a 4700 mile trip to Ohio for the 2012 NATS averaging over 17mpg and the only issue was a goofy TPS.

Now for some pics-
This is how it sat when I bought it:

and how it sits now:

Nice looking truck. How do you get it to pass smog with that open air cleaner? Do you remove it and reinstall the stock one for testing?

Good luck!
