How about a dyno section where one can compare and contrast? Maybe with some general thread posting guidelines like:
1-dyno type
2-correction factor (if any)
3-combustion environment: fuel octane, boost pressure, nitrous shot size, etc.
4-peak hp/tq
5-specific engine & mods
6-dyno chart
I think it would be a nice database to compile. Maybe include it in the "Racing Forums" section.
Just a thought,

Something like this is what I'm thinking. I think it would be great to see the facts, numbers, and mods of all the different combos people have done in one section of the forum.
Thread Title: engine hp/tq (boosted, na, sprayed)
ie: 4.7 441/491 boosted
DynoJet
Uncorrected
93 octane, 10psi
441rwhp/491rwtq
4.7 HO, 8.1:1 CR Ross slugs, Crower rods, cleaned up heads, custom cams 224/218 520/502, F&B TB, T-72 huffer, crappy (read peaky) stock intake manifold, air:air intercooler, 3" exhaust, AEM EMS, T-56 trans.
Coming in summer, fabbed intake manifold, 16-18psi.

Oh, thanks. However, I still think a dyno section with individual threads per setup would work better than a single thread with info overload. It seems it would be easier to find info and Q&A specific people/setups in unique threads rather than sifting through a single thread with tens and tens if not hundreds of posts over the long term.
IMO.
