Ok looking to see what a stock weight RC making 350 rwhp and 375 torque. With a 3000 stall should roughly run in the quarter?

What tires?

With traction, low 13s at ~103.

that would be my guess. mid to low 13s if you can hook it.

mine is light for a stock truck, because it's a factory manual transmission, and factory non-AC, factory non-cruise, manual windows, doors, locks, seats, etc.

basically a base model truck with only a V8.

with mods, I'm at 285rwhp and 325 tq. my 60' times are 2.2-2.3 I'm running 14.2-14.3 at 99mph

If I put slicks on it and dead hook it off the line for a 1.7-1.8 60' time, that alone gets me a .4 gain, or about 13.7

And an auto would probably drop another few tenths.

How much tweaking, practice, gear and converter setups did this take? No doubt you can do more with less, but with the limited info the OP provided, I don't see him getting it done.

He raced the first time last year in May. I have been there with him everytime since. So about 4 different tracks and a intake manifold change and gear change.

I don't know. it's debate able.

yes, with an automatic, you can load up the driveline on the converter, probably launch a little harder to get out of the hole quicker with less shock to the driveline, and an automatic may shift quicker than a manual, depending on the driver and how the auto is built (I can shift my stick faster than a stock auto trans, but probably not as quick as a race built, hard shifting auto)

but the down side is the auto won't put as much power to the wheels, and the stick may pull more MPH and run out the back end quicker.

unfortunately the only REAL way to answer that question is to run a truck with one trans, swap that truck to the other version, and run it again without changing anything to the engine, because if you build 2 identical engines, you'll still get variations in power output, and if you swap the same engine to a different truck, you'll likely run into weight differences based on what option the truck has, since no 2 trucks weigh exactly the same.
