So, I dropped the heads for my truck off at the machine shop Saturday morning. They'll take about a month or so to get done, but I know the guy doing them, he does good work, and he's done some work for me before so I trust him.
Anyway, 3 years ago when I last dynoed my Dakota, it made 264whp/335wtrq with an 11.0 A/F ratio, it's mods at the time were as follows:
GS Motorsports Headers
Mopar M1 Intake
Fastman 52mm TB
ASP Underdrive pulley with short belt
Harland Sharp 1.7 rockers
B&G M1 Flash
true dual exhaust with H-pipe, 2.5"
I think that's everything I had back then that would help the power department. 3 years later I'm finally stepping up the game.
Going in/on the truck are:
Comp Cams 210X camshaft (.544 lift with 1.7's)
1.97/1.625 Magnum Heads. Ported
JP Double-roller timing chain
I bought a set of stock heads really cheap and complete. I'm having 1.97 valves added to them, and I'm getting them mildly ported with a gasket match on the intake and exhaust side, and 5 angle valve job. They're also getting a slight deck in the neighborhood of .005 to make sure they're true as they've been sitting for a bit of time. :D
Anyone wanna guesstimate what she's gonna make? With the M1 tune that's on it, and then maybe with an SCT tune? How about a 100 shot of the giggle juice? ;)
