WUSS!! It's all in a days work for me. BUT on Airplanes & Helicopters. Automobiles are a cake walk. Race Cars even easier.

I will give it to you though, I have seen you work and you do a very Nice Job.

Thanks, and it's better this time.

I need to isolate the ignition box to distrubutor wires, all I can find in Shielded Tefzel Wire is 16ga, I need 10 or 12 ga. Would this work? I can get it in 12 ga.

And the Grounded MSD cable is only 6' long, I need 8'. :fml:

Yep that will work!!

That is what we use. Bit more expensive but worth it in my opinion.

OK...Shielded cable in one hand, soldering gun in the other.

When crimping/soldering the ends, I'm guessing I need to to keep the inner wire away from the shield, of course I do, other wise it's just more of the same inner wire...Right?

I hear ya.
I can see into the future and I already know I need to have this conversation with myself when I finally find the front bumper I need to bring fog lights to my truck... God only knows what can of worms that project is bound to unleash.

Should I ground one end of the braided sheath?

Only if you are running anything that could be interfered with EMI, such as Data or Audio signals. IE: EFI, Audio equipment, Time Delay Box.

In your case more than likely NOT. You are still Carbed and not using any Electronics.

It never HURTS, none the less. Just not neccesary. If you go that route might as well do both ends.
