Does it not work anymore? Tried using it a few times and get nothing in return.

I've had that happen before too. it's rather annoying when you consider how many 3 letter acronyms we use...

PCM
CPS
CTM
ABS
IAC
TPS
MAP
PDC
LDP
SCT
MS

...I'm sure there's more...

I don't get why there's a limit at all. :idunno:

I don't know that there is a limit, but its not returning results, almost like there is an error somewhere.

Search works fine, 3 letter limit, but must have at least 1 4 letter with it, do to performance reasons the actual MYSQL Database itself has a default at 4 letter minimum, no matter what I change the forums internal options too.

Database stability, imagine 15 people looking for the letter "a" it would crash the server and overload the database with millions of queries.

No error, safety feature. You can search 3 letter, but must have a 4 letter with it.

Add another word to the three letter search that is relavent to what you are looking for. This additional word must have 4 characters or more.

"TPS voltage" or "TPS connector" instead of TPS.

Now I search 390 and Tire and get 20 pages of results. Ah well, use the google search function with the address typed in.
