I know just enough to get me in trouble ;-)

Thanks guys - I think the forum is running nicely as well - Steve is doing a great job of setting it all up and making it user friendly as possible, especially in its infant stages....

The site is coming along nicely and we should be on schedule for completion as we agreed....

Things couldn't be better right now! We bought a house recently and moved in over the last week or so. We've lived in the same rent house since 1987 when we got married, so this is a really fun adventure for us.
The jalopy I was working on is still a work in progress, so I ended up buying a running Model A last July, so Dad could finally enjoy one before he gets too old to drive (he's 78 now). Hopefully, I can link up a short video of Dad coming back from his first drive in it. He took it to lunch to meet up with some old HS buddies. Boy, were they surprised to see him roll up in this!
http://media.putfile.com/Back-from-lunch

I have driven it a lot more than he has though. It's really a BLAST to drive!

I also have acquired a couple more projects.

1934 Dodge Bros pickup-installing a 225 slant 6 and a 904 automatic.
1964 Chevy Corvair Monza coupe. Will be my gas mileage car/beater.

Good to see you're here and I'm really looking forward to the future. This website has really brought back a lot of enthusiasm for the club. Now, if they would only hook us up with a chat room!

I had high hopes for the continuation of The DRTC from day one. When you put your heart into something you only want to see it succeed. It's now in very capable hands all the way around, and seems to be thriving. Yay.

You can go into your User CP and have the forum email you everytime someone posts in a thread you posted in. It may not be a post to you though. Or you can use the method Todd found, he posted it in another thread. http://dakotart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=456

Thanks Lori! And don't ask me, I'm still not any smarter at this kind of stuff after all these years. I just browse around from place to place, so I miss quite a bit myself. Some people probably think I'm rude and just ignoring them, lol.
